Our Social Impact Mission

in Jul 25, 2024

Sana Jardin is proud to be a pioneer in sustainable and socially responsible luxury. Our Beyond Sustainability model empowers rural communities in our supply chain. We work closely with female flower harvesters in Morocco, providing them with opportunities for economic independence through entrepreneurial training, skill-building and product development programs, and market access.

The Sana Jardin Cooperative in Tiddas, Morocco was founded in 2017 by local female flower harvesters. In collaboration with Sana Jardin, this initiative empowers women to achieve financial independence while fostering sustainable business growth. The cooperative recycles agricultural waste to create a line of candles and dried flower sachets and has since expanded their product line to include embroidery, a Moroccan heritage craft.

The Sana Jardin Accelerator Program in partnership with Nest

Launched in 2024 in collaboration with the global artisan NGO Nest, this program provides women with entrepreneurship training, market access, and access to capital. The accelerator partners women with industry professionals in order to foster a supportive community and tailored mentorship. The first cohort saw five cooperatives take part in the training and receive grants, they included Cooperative Art Design of Marrakech, Cooperative Tifout, Cooperative Iffasen, Cooperative Angouan, and Tagmoussi Weaving Center at The Eve Branson Foundation.  Applications for our next accelerator cohort will open in Spring 2025.
